I woke up today with a huge smile and almost jumped out of bed so I could have my delicious egg breakfast I have missed so much! And a REAL cup of coffee!! It was all so tasty.
Technically I am supposed to add in each food item that eliminated one at a time. That didn't go over that well, but I felt pretty good all day long so I can't complain. Here is what I ate today:
Breakfast: 1 whole egg, 3 egg whites, a dash of nutritional yeast, spinach and 1 organic flour tortilla. YUM. I was pretty full after this and felt a little nauseous but I think I ate it too fast and this was a waaaayyy heavier breakfast than I have had in 3 weeks so that's probably why.
Post-workout: 1 protein shake (MY WAY!). 1 scoop On Nutrition Whey Chocolate Protein, 2 tbsp Organic PBfit peanut butter (this stuff is bomb.com and 90% less fat than regular peanut butter), 1 tbsp flax, 1/2 banana and a little bit of unsweetened cocoa powder. SO SO GOOD.
Lunch: I ate out with my Xymogen boss for sushi so I had lots of soy and shellfish with the edamame, soy sauce and crab! Some dairy too--it was all so good and I felt no effects.
Dinner: 1 wild alaskan salmon filet (Costco marinated ones--my fave), 1 cup mixed veggies (leftover from last night) and 3/4 cup quinoa.
Dessert: 1/2 cup peanut butter and chocolate organic puff cereal with about 1/2 cup almond milk. (I think I was missing peanut butter and chocolate).
I didn't put this into myfitnesspal.com because I never know how to log sushi. I have my meals planned out for tomorrow though and I am so on track eating what I want!!
Overall I did not have any reactions from what I ate today. I also didn't want to overdue it either. The next 3 days I'll be eating clean since I have shift and I'm busy so I meal prepped today some turkey chili (very low carb), and some green chili chicken with cannelloni beans. I make this with pork sometimes, but pork is fattening so I chose chicken. I also prepped some mixed raw veggies so I stay on track for the week.
That's a wrap! I may not update tomorrow, but I'll try to update in a couple of days to let you know how I'm feeling with adding back in all the foods I avoided.
