Day 11 (Day 4 of no meat): 21 Day Cleanse

Only 2 more days  till I can have some meat or fish!  I think I'm ready.  Not eating meat really isn't that bad.  The worst part is drinking this protein shake 3 times a day!  If I didn't have to do that I'd be golden, but I need my protein so I drink it.  My "work" week is over at school so I have the weekend to myself now.  This is what I ate today:

Breakfast:  Protein shake (1 scoop OptiCleanse GHI vanilla protein powder mixed with water), 1 cup organic brown rice puffs with 1 cup unsweetened almond milk.

After gym snack:  1 peach

Lunch:  Lentil, spinach and sweet potato soup.

Snacks:  Seaweed snack, 1 gala apple and 2 celery stalks.

Dinner:  Salad with tri-bean blend and veggies with 1 tbsp Bragg's Healthy Vinaigrette.  1 handful of organic mixed nuts and berries.

Late night snacks:  1 brown rice cake w/ 1 tbsp almond butter and a drizzle of honey with a protein shake--1 scoop OptiCleanse GHI vanilla protein powder mixed with water.

Total calories (+/-)--I didn't count all the veggies in the salad or the total amount of lettuce that was in the salad either:  1381  (Carbs 54%, Protein 22%, Fat 24%).    I'm OK with these numbers.  Wish I could have lower carbs, but I don't see how to do that and still get in adequate protein (I got in 81grams today).    2 more days of this and then my macros can get back on track!  WOO HOO!

My energy has been good again today and I had a good cardio workout this morning.

So, more of the same tomorrow!
