I even got a cardio workout in tonight and I still feel great. My energy levels are high and I haven't had any afternoon crashes. It's been great so far! Here is what I ate today:
Breakfast--smoothie (2 scoops OptiCleanse GHI vanilla protein powder, 1 cup organic spinach, 1/2 cup organic mixed berries, 1 TBSP chia and flax seeds).
Lunch--1 grilled turkey burger (plain), 1/2 cup jasmine rice and 1 cup steamed green beans
Snacks-1 brown rice cake, veggie pack (organic carrots, radish and cucumber) w/ 1 snack pack of organic hummus, 1 grilled chicken patti and 1 peach
Dinner--baked wild Mahi Mahi (1.5 filets) and steamed broccolini (sorry-this was the only photo I took, but the rest of my food was boring!)
Today's calories: 1307 calories ( 40% carbs, 21% fat and 39% protein). This is almost perfect for where I want to be! I'm proud of myself today.
I'm already starting to stress about next week when I can't have any meat products. I hope I can still get in enough protein. I will be drinking protein shakes 3 times a week so hopefully that will help!
So, onto day 4!
