Day 5: 21 Day Cleanse

Another day off the calendar.  Nothing new today, but I did increase my protein shakes to 2 per day.  One in the AM and 1 in the PM.  I also had a good workout this morning too and I'm still feeling amazing.  I was telling some friends today I have really good energy, don't feel sluggish in the afternoon and I really am surprised I haven't had any headaches.  I'm not complaining though!

Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast:  1 scoop OptiCleanse GHI vanilla protein powder mixed with water and 1 cup organic brown rice puff cereal with 1 cup coconut milk.

Lunch:  Ground Chicken Hash (that's the last of it!)

Afternoon Meal:  3oz grilled chicken, black beans, avocado and sauteed spinach and mushrooms (no oil or butter).  This meal was actually eaten out.  I just modified the heck out of it! (There was some red bell pepper in the beans, but I picked it out!)

Snack:  Peach (I'm obsessed)

Dinner:  Wild Mahi Mahi filet and broccolini

Late night snack:  1 scoop OptiCleanse GHI vanilla protein powder mixed with water

Total Calories:  1319 (Carbs 41%, Protein 38%, Fat 21%).  Pretty spot on to me!

I should mention too the supplements I take.  I take a multi-vitamin from Xymogen.  It's actually a pack of vitamins that includes a multi, an antioxidant and a fish oil.  I take Astragalus, a probiotic, broccoli extract and a B vitamin.

I also did THIS today:

12 inches lighter!!!

I am going to donate my locks to Pantene.  They take un-died hair, but it must be 8 inches and clean.  I will supply them with 12 inches.  To find out more, check them out here:  Pantene-Beautiful Lengths.  I absolutely love my new look and I should have done it months ago.  This is my first drastic cut since I lost my hair 6 years.  I feel so free, lighter and much cooler!!  I love change!!

So, with that I bid you goodnight!  Till tomorrow--5 days down, 16 to go!  I got this!!
