Day 9 (Day 2 of no meat): 21 Day Cleanse

I survived another day of no meat and honestly it wasn't bad at all...but then again I had an incredibly busy day!  My day began at 5:30am and I didn't stop until I got home at 8:45pm!  Whew!  My energy help up really good though and I'm pretty tired right now, but rightfully so!  I wasn't dragging though so I'm really happy!

Here is what I ate today:

Breakfast:  Smoothie (1 scoop OptiCleanse GHI vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup organic berries, 1 cup organic baby spinach, 1 scoop Xymogen Organix Phytofood and 1 cup Coconut Milk)

Snack:  Nectarine

Lunch:  My quinoa pasta with homemade pesto and various veggies.  Protein shake:  1 scoop OptiCleanse GHI vanilla protein powder mixed with water.

Snacks:  Peach, organic nuts and seeds, seaweed snack

Dinner:  Salad with many veggies and garbanzo beans with 1 tbsp Bragg's Healthy Vinaigrette.

Late night snack:  Protein shake:  1 scoop OptiCleanse GHI vanilla protein powder mixed with water.

Total calories:  1364 (Carbs 47%, Protein 21%, Fats 32%)  Ideally I'd like to get my protein higher but I'm not sure how to do that without eating more carbs.  I don't want to supplement with more protein powder.  :(  If you have suggestions, please leave me a comment below!

That's the update from today.  Only 11 more days to go!  WHOOP!
